My work explores isolated, non-urban spaces outside of our contemporary, predominantly urban environments. My interest is transglobal, in land spaces including Australia, South East Asia, Micronesia, America and Mexico, and oceanic spaces include the Southern, Indian, Atlantic, and Pacific Oceans. Through the working media of photography and video, I frame conceptual notions of time, light, movement and personal experience in these spaces. My intent is to question our engagement as physical beings in the physical world.
