Kate Hoffman was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She studied at the Center of Art and Culture in Aix-en-Provence, France, and received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002. After completing residencies at Est-Nord-Est in Quebec, Canada and at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in 2005, she entered the MFA program at University California San Diego. Having recently exhibited in “Agent Once” at the Acuna-Hansen Gallery, Kate Hoffman’s inter-media practice incorporates sculpture, photo, drawing, and video.
