Patrick Miller

Patrick Miller is an artist living and working in Los Angeles. Miller has worked variously in photography, sound, performance, video, installation, sculpture and drawing. Throughout his practice he has used social environments both as a subject and as a process. From his documentary photos of Long Beach’s underground ska/punk scene in the early 90’s, to more recent projects including: experimental parties, a battery powered DJ troupe, and mood altering bass sculptures, Miller uses social situations as a source of inspiration and mode of production. Additionally, Miller blends interests/ obsessions such as: DJing, Cycling, Cat Loving, and The Unequivocal Liberation of all People into his work; sometimes with relative success.

Past exhibition sites include: Estation Tijuana (Tijuana, Mexico) LA Municipal Gallery (Los Angeles), Ghetto Gloss (Los Angeles), Transport Gallery, (Los Angeles), Class:C (various locations).

Past performance sites include: Wignall Museum (Rancho Cucamonga), OCMA (Costa Mesa, CA), Venice Graffiti Walls (Venice, CA), Lady Fest (Los Angeles + San Diego) Russell Space (La Jolla, CA), The Smell (Los Angeles, CA), KSDT Radio (Online).
