My earlier projects investigated the critical and libratory potential of reconfiguring seemingly disposable knowledge, information, and objects / architecture. Adding to this conceptual framework, new experiments attempt to visually substantiate the subjective and ideological determinants and consequences of the development of physical space. In effort to mobilize a local discourse, I develop projects from a commitment to the space I currently occupy, and often deploy myself through the work as a 'control': How does the status of white, middleclass layperson affect her/his 'footprint' as a consumptive spatial unit? As this develops on a local scale, what is the global fallout?
