Scott Lyne

"I have been obsessed since birth. Obsessed with what? EVERYTHING. It is a MIRACLE that a camera crew and stunned TV personality have never entered my habitat in HAZMAT gear to ask, "WHY?!" They haven't done this because it's never been THAT bad; I've never collected gallons of milk and cats, or raccoons, trash, or newspapers. Trolls; magazines; found photos; designer clothes, shoes, and bags--some to never be worn; records; typewriters; obscure movies that suck on VHS; houseplants; a specific kind of dishware that is a translucent amber or green; fur; animal skulls and bones: these are my things. I have collected since early childhood, and now at thirty years old I've learned that I can pack every single thing on EARTH (and other planets too, if I am collecting rocks, which incidentally I do) into my home, and it doesn't matter because when walking down the street, laying in bed, riding the bus, eating lunch, or having a conversation, all I'm really thinking about is Heidi Fleiss. Luckily my friends are the exact same way. So the only approximate conclusion I can make is that people like Scott and I have an accelerated, neurotic greed to observe. Everything in this world is SO insane, how could you not be obsessed with it???? I mean really, think about Nicolas Cage for example. His HAIR. THINK ABOUT IT. Now think about it all day, and all night. Welcome to my brain."
