Stephanie Lie is an artist, computer programmer and arts educator in the Visual Arts graduate program at UC San Diego. She received degrees in Computer Science and Art Practice from UC Berkeley in 2000. Her artistic practice lies at the intersection between art and technology, engaging modes of scientific research to reveal new ways of seeing. Lie's work has been featured at the San Diego Museum of Art, the New Children's Museum and the Nevada Museum of Art. Lie has taught drawing, electronics and new media art at UC Berkeley, UC San Diego and in workshops with Jane Rosen since 1999.
