Spatial perception of landscape affords us a shift, from the entirety at once to the focus upon scattered elements, relationships change, bend, fail and realign. Sub-landscapes can emerge, oftentimes as smaller articulations of the whole, other times as bastions of resistance to its absolute authority or displaced elsewheres. Searching, and the degree of that search will determine which of these one sees, which shall remain lost, and what will be found.
